Iterations are multiple submissions that use the same core components but in different colorways or with minor tweaks or changes.
Our policy only allows artists to submit one version of each design to a Challenge. When creating submissions for Minted Challenges, we recommend focusing on quality over quantity. If you’re having trouble deciding between different versions of your design, try requesting feedback from other artists, or start a design poll. Statistically, designs that have received feedback and been reworked score more highly.
Below, we’ve provided some examples of what we consider iterations, rather than new designs.
While these designs include different greetings and the placement of the text has changed, these would be considered versions of the same design.
While the framing of the photo creates a different effect on this design, the core elements of the design are the same.
While the foil textures, colors, and the font used for the greeting have been changed, the core design is the same.
While the orientation of this design has been changed, and the text placement has been adjusted, the core concept of this design is the same.
