For almost all of our Minted Challenges, we hold a Critique Period once submissions close. This critique period typically lasts 24 hours (with some exceptions), and during this time artists can offer and receive feedback on their work before voting opens.
During the critique period, you can edits and refine your existing submissions; however, you cannot upload completely new designs to replace a "placeholder" submission. We now have a process to identify artists who have uploaded completely new designs to replace a "placeholder" submission during the Critique Period. If that happens, the entry will be disqualified.
Here at Minted, we honor constructive feedback. The critique period is a time you can help fellow artists improve their work. It’s also a place where artists who have been going back and forth with colors, fonts, etc. can receive feedback from the Minted community to help inform their creative process and improve their output. There are a few ways to generate quality critiques on your designs depending on the type of feedback you're hoping to receive: you can run a design poll if you're having trouble deciding between different version of your design, or you can request feedback about a specific aspect of your design.
We hope you join in the community spirit and give feedback to fellow Minted artists!
