"Placeholders" are blank or irrelevant images uploaded during the Challenge submission period to reserve a spot while the artist continues working on their design. These placeholders must be replaced with the final submission during the Critique Period.
The Critique Period offers artists a chance to give and receive feedback to improve their designs before voting begins. While you can edit and refine existing submissions during this time, you cannot upload entirely new designs to replace placeholder submissions. We have implemented a system to identify such replacements, and any placeholder designs not replaced with the intended submission will be disqualified.
