Will I receive a 1099 tax form at the end of the year?

Minted issues 1099 tax forms in accordance with IRS regulations. A 1099 is issued only if an artist’s earnings exceed $600 during a calendar year. If your earnings are $599 or less for the year, a 1099 will not be issued.

Please note that Minted also does not issue Form 1099-MISC to:

• artists who have submitted a W-8BEN, or

• artists whose W-9 tax classification is a Corporation (C-Corp or S-Corp).
