Will I get additional prize payments for repurposed designs?

At times we may want designs to be reworked and placed in multiple categories to expand their opportunity to sell, which benefits both Minted and the artist. You will have the option to make the design changes yourself or have us make them for you.

If you make the design changes yourself:

• For minor edits*, we will pay you 25% of the new product category’s Editors’ Pick Prize
• For new files or more significant rework**, we will pay you 100% of the new product category’s Editors’ Pick prize. 

If we change the design for you:

• We will not pay any additional Editors’ Pick Prize, although you will receive sales commission for the new, repurposed product.

* Minor changes include simple text changes that don’t affect the artwork on the design itself (for example, changing a bridal shower card to a baby shower card by simply updating the text and not altering the artwork).

** Reworked files would include altering the artwork to fit a new product category, like changing a bridal shower card to a greeting card, or creating new accessories or artwork for a new product kind (e.g. creating a backer/liner pattern or accessory files).
