What do "outline only" and "cannot license" mean on the Minted Font List?

On our Minted Font List, we have included tabs with the fonts we have licensed for outline-only use as well as fonts that we cannot license.

Outline-Only Fonts refer to fonts that Minted has only acquired a non-editable license for. These fonts can only be used for non-editable (outlined) text.

Our Cannot License List is a list of fonts that CANNOT be used in any form on Minted products, whether for personalizable or outlined text. There are a few different reasons why this would happen:

• The foundry does not offer the type of licenses we need (for editable or uneditable text)
• We were unable to negotiate a reasonable price for the type of license that we require
• We have a Minted-approved font that is similar to the one being used in a design
  
  • This isn’t the case as often as you might think! It’s more commonly a licensing issue.
