What is included in my commission report?

Understanding Your Monthly Commission Report

Each commission report includes two tabs:

1. Report: A summary of your sales commissions by Category and Product Type (e.g., Wedding and Wedding Invitations)
2. Data: itemized order details including Order Date, Category, SKU, Product Type, Dimension, Quantity*, Commissionable Net Sales After Adjustments & Discounts, Commission Rate, Commission, Source, etc.

*Please note that we do not include quantity for wholesale sales per our confidentiality agreement with retailers.

Order Date

Why are the dates from sales notification emails and my Excel commission report slightly different?

Actual transaction dates may differ from those listed on your Excel commission report Transaction Report by two or three days.

Net Sales

What are "Commissionable Net Sales After Adjustments & Discounts" in the Data tab of my Excel report?

Total net sales amount after subtracting all promotional discounts and any adjustments due to refunds or returns.

Commission

Why are there orders that show a total of zero ("0.00") dollars?
Your commission report may include orders that totaled $0 and will appear as “0.00”. This can be due to promotional gifts for press, samples, internal test orders, refunds, returns, and/or cancellations.

Why does my Excel commission report not match my online sales report?

Canceled orders and replacement orders will show up in your online sales reports, but they are removed from commission reports so that you may see slightly fewer orders in your commission report than in your online sales report. We have multiple safeguards to ensure we don’t miss any orders.

What is the "Membership" category?

The membership category and product type refer to the Minted More annual membership gift box.

What is the "Minted More Membership" source?

This source is used when a product with your design is included in the Minted More annual membership gift box. The quantity, sales, and commissions reflect totals for the month. 

What are the "Zola" and "Blueprint" sources?

Zola and Blueprint are wedding gift card registry programs.
