How do I report work that looks too similar to a Minted design?

If you find a design that seems too similar to an existing design on Minted, please let us know immediately by filling out the Designs to Flag for Review form. You can find this form in our Community Resources drop-down menu.

This applies to designs found outside of Minted as well as submissions to Minted Challenges. Minted takes copyright laws very seriously and is committed to defending our intellectual property, as well as respecting the intellectual property of others. We have an internal review team that evaluates all cases of potential copying and infringement and takes appropriate action as needed.

Please do not directly contact other artists or companies who you suspect of infringement. This includes posting on social media, in online groups, or on the Minted platform. Doing so may end up hurting our case if legal action needs to be taken. It also alerts infringers that Minted has been made aware of the copy before we are able to take proper legal action.

Likewise, when you find submissions to challenges that you think are too similar, we ask that you not contact artists directly about your concerns. It’s important that all designs are evaluated consistently from the same legal perspective, and that we contact applicable artists with an official verdict from Minted’s review team. We also want to avoid any confrontations or conflict between artists. We'd like your help in keeping the Minted community a place where members feels comfortable experimenting, growing, and learning.

The Minted community is a huge help to us in identifying infringing designs, so please don't hesitate to flag a design for review if you see something that gives you pause. We sincerely appreciate and share the passion you have for protecting the artwork on Minted and will take swift action when necessary.
