Petite, Postcard, and Grand

After your file is submitted, Minted may repurpose your file into additional sizes that are proportionately scaled from the main design. These offer different options to customers who might be looking for an additional format. These options include two 4.25x6” options and one 6x8” option. Minted will handle all of the work to create these; there is nothing that you need to do!

Petite Card (4.25x6)

Card featured is Penelope by Morgan Kendall

• This is a smaller version of our standard card.
• This card may be sold as flat or folded, with backer and interior options, and a scaled-down envelope design. 

Postcard (4.25x6)

• The front is a scaled-down version of the standard card.
• The back includes name/address boxes that meet USPS design guidelines, set up to be mailed at the standard postcard rate.

Grand (6x8)

• This is a larger version of our standard card.
• This card may be sold as flat or folded, with backer and interior options, and a scaled-up envelope design. 

To optimize quality and consistency, we encourage artists to consider how artwork and typography may appear on each card size. 

• In your Challenge-winning file setup, we recommend font sizes be 1 or 2 points above the minimum size. This will allow for the typography to be scaled down on Petite and Postcard versions without falling below print legible guidelines. 
• We recommend that you follow the standard Minted guidelines for images and artwork, maintaining a minimum resolution of 300 ppi. This will reduce the risk of pixelation when we scale your design up for the Grand size.
