Why can’t I submit my creative URL?

When you are submitting a design for the first time, you may receive a message while trying to create the 'creative URL' that will become the URL to your artist profile. If the site isn't letting you choose a certain URL, that means either that it’s already taken and you’ll have to choose another or that it includes an illegal character. Numbers and non-alphanumeric characters (like question marks, exclamation marks, ampersands, etc.) will not work in your URL. Please pick another one and try again!

PLEASE NOTE: To create your URL, you should only type in the words you want to follow "www.minted.com/creative/". For example, if I were creating an account for “My Awesome Artwork”, I would just type "myawesomeartwork" in the blank field.
