Once you submit a piece to a challenge, your Minted account will automatically become an artist account, with a dedicated Artist Profile Page on Minted.com. To make your profile look its very best, we recommend that you update your artist profile as soon as you start submitting to challenges.
Where do I edit my artist profile?
To access your artist profile page, sign into your account, then hover over the icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page. Select "Artist Dashboard" from the dropdown menu.
From your artist dashboard, click on "My Profile." Then select "Edit Your Artist Profile."
We recommend that you do the following as soon as you start submitting.
- Write a little bit about yourself and your work in the "About" section.
- Add a photo of yourself. This must be a photo of your lovely/handsome face, not a logo, as other artists and customers alike want to connect with you as a person.
Mailing Info (right column)
- Fill out your mailing address. We send our catalog to all U.S. community members who provide an address. If you win, this is where we will send you samples of any eligible products you may have for sale on Minted (more details here).
Payment Info (right column)
- Where it says "PayPal Email Address," enter the email address you use with your PayPal account. If you don't have a PayPal account, simply enter any email address you would like to use, then the next time we have earnings to send, you will receive an email from PayPal with instructions on how to set up an account and receive your payment.
Below is a screenshot of the "Edit your profile" page, so you can see the sections we are referencing.
IMPORTANT: When you're done with your edits, be sure to click "submit" at the bottom right.
Have fun with your profile and update it as often as you'd like! Completing all the steps above will make you eligible for joining the Minted Community Facebook group! More info on that here.
