All artists with commissionable sales will receive an itemized report of their commission payments.
Monthly sales commission payments
You can expect to see monthly online payments approximately 45 days after each calendar month. You will receive wholesale payments on a quarterly basis. These will be reflected in your commission reports and payments for March, June, September, and December sales. See the sales commission payment schedule here.
Important notes about your commission report
Some orders may show a total of zero (“0.00”) dollars.
Your commission report may include orders that totaled $0 and will appear as “0.00”. This is due to promotional gifts for press, samples, internal test orders, etc.
How to interpret the “Source” column:
Most wholesale and retail partner sales are paid on a quarterly basis.
The quarterly payment schedule applies to wholesale and retail store sales from Target, West Elm, Pottery Barn Kids, PBteen, and the Minted Store, as well as sales from Pippa. These will be reflected in your commission reports and payments for March, June, September, and December sales. Online West Elm, Domino, Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen sales are paid on a monthly basis.

The dates from sales notification emails and your commission report may be slightly different.
Actual transaction dates may differ from those listed on your Transaction Report by two or three days.
You may see fewer orders in your commission report compared to the online sales report.
Canceled orders and replacement orders will show up in your online sales reports, but they are removed from quarterly commission reports. Due to this, you may see slightly fewer orders in your commission report than your online sales report. It is very important to us that you are paid for all of your commissionable sales. We have multiple safeguards in place to ensure that we don’t miss any orders.
What's new in your Excel commission report?
Commission reports are provided monthly, in an Excel spreadsheet format.
Your report now includes a summary of your commissions by Category and Product Type.
View the first tab of the Excel report titled ‘Report’ which includes the following information:
- Total commission payment amount
- Total commissions by category
- % of total commissions by category
- Total commissions by product type
- % of total commissions by product type
Your report now includes additional fields for each order.
View the second tab of the Excel report titled ‘Data’ to view all order-level data. All data fields remain the same as previous PDF reports, however, we have now added new fields:
- ‘Commissionable Net Sales after Adjustments & Discounts’ (This is defined as the total net sales amount after subtracting all promotional discounts and any adjustments due to refunds/returns)
- 'Dimension' (Size of the SKU purchased for a given order)
- 'Quantity' (Quantity purchased of each SKU for a given order)
Additional information about your new commission report
The ‘Data’ tab of your report is protected.
You will not be able to edit data in this tab directly, but you can copy and paste this data into a new sheet.
It may take a few minutes for your summary report to fully load.
Upon opening the Excel report, the data may take 5-10 minutes to fully load, if you have a large number of orders in your report. If the summary data does not load, please go to the 'Formulas' section in the Excel workbook, select ‘Calculation Options’, and make sure this is set to ‘Automatic’.
If you do not have Excel on your computer, you can open the Excel report with Google Sheets.
To do this: download your report >> open a blank Google spreadsheet >> click ‘File’ >> click ‘Import’ >> click ‘Upload’ >> select your report >> the data will then populate.
If you do not have Excel on your computer or a Gmail/Google account, you can still view and print the report via Dropbox.
Click the link to your report and view in Dropbox. You will be able to navigate the different tabs and print. To print with all columns visible, you will need to adjust the scale in your print settings.
