in these Challenges, we’re seeking fresh, unique greeting cards across a variety of occasions from birthday, anniversary, milestones, sympathy to children’s birthday to offer through our wholesale program to retailers across the country. All Greeting Card designs are A7 designs created in portrait orientation, and we've provided Adobe Illustrator templates in the Challenge Kit that you can use to format your submissions. When submitting to the five new Minted Greeting Card Challenges, you are only required to submit an image of the front of your design. Your designs should not include any customizable text, photos, or design elements.
We are accepting both non-foil-pressed and foil-pressed designs in these Challenges. We will be accepting letterpress designs in every challenge except for the Let the Good Times Roll: Everyday Milestones Greeting Card Challenge.
We are only accepting new copy and copy included in the provided list in these Challenges. We will not consider designs using the same copy as winning designs in our existing assortment. You may use your own original new copy, but we encourage you to use the provided copy in the challenge kit to create your submissions. If you've used another writer's copy to create your submission, please add their full name and the Design ID in the "Design Tags" section of the submission form. Design IDs are included in the list of copy provided in the Challenge Kit.
We'll ask that you transcribe the front and inside (if applicable) copy in your design in two places when submitting your design.
1. Please transcribe your copy in the "Comments about your design" section. It should look like this: Front: You're amazing! Inside: Happy Birthday.
2. We've included two fields for your copy on the submission form (see image of submission form below). Please insert your copy into each respective field.
Detailed information and guidelines for creating your submissions to each respective challenge can be found in the Challenge Description PDFs included in each Challenge Kit. Challenge Kits are available to download from each individual Challenge using the link on the right hand of the page, just below the header and recently submitted designs.
