Yes, we encourage employees to enter Minted Challenges. We believe that it is beneficial for Minted employees and contractors to exercise their creativity and to understand the artist perspective.
While employees are able to enter challenges and receive recognition for top-placed designs, they are limited to the minimum cash prize in any challenge. Like all of our artists, they do receive commission payments on the net sales of their designs and they may receive Editors’ Picks. Employees participating in challenges must do so outside of work and with only their own resources.
Fun fact - we love to hire Minted artists! More than a few members of our staff have applied for jobs after having discovered us by entering Minted Challenges.
